Description
Our client is seeking a Healthcare Services Attorney with at least five years of experience in healthcare procurement and commercial transactions for their offices in Madison, Milwaukee, Waukesha, or Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with healthcare clients and industry businesses on matters such as provider relations, vendor contracts, technology license agreements, payor network agreements, billing issues, corporate governance, credentialing, privacy, and cybersecurity. Familiarity with regulatory compliance areas including the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Medicare exclusion, CMP actions, antitrust laws, and tax exemption is essential. Experience with HIPAA and healthcare data security and privacy terms is strongly preferred. The role requires extensive experience in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing complex contracts with large provider networks or regional payors, and knowledge of payor reimbursement strategies.
