Description
Our client, a reputed law firm with a strong focus on Intellectual Property, is on the lookout for a Patent Agent to join their team in one of their offices, located in either a major southeastern city, a northeastern city, or the nation's capital. The ideal candidate would bring 2+ years of experience in crafting patent applications, managing patent prosecution under the guidance of a patent attorney, preparing and analyzing search results for patentability, and developing and implementing patent filing strategies. Experience assisting with patent opinions, supporting intellectual property licensing, and general litigation and transactions is a plus. Applicants should be able to manage a docket with multiple clients and deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates must be licensed with the USPTO and have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering or have significant experience with these technologies.
