LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE (3000)
Description
Our client is seeking a labor and employment associate to join their employment practice group in New York. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in employment-related litigation and transactional work, including handling discrimination cases, wage and hour class actions, and contract disputes in federal and state courts or before administrative agencies. Responsibilities include providing advice and counseling, conducting wage and hour audits, researching complex employment law issues, and preparing employment-related documents such as agreements, policies, and employee handbooks. Experience in traditional labor law and conducting employment training is also desired. Candidates must possess strong strategic and detail-oriented skills, a high sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments. Superior academic and writing credentials, along with New York Bar admission, are required, with NJ/PA/CT bar admissions being a plus. A hybrid work schedule is available.
