LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ATTORNEY (0550)

Description

Our client is seeking a seasoned Labor & Employment attorney to join their nationally-ranked Labor & Employment management-side practice group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in labor and employment law, with significant experience advising California employers on a broad spectrum of issues. The candidate should have a robust understanding of state and federal laws and regulations governing employment in California, including but not limited to the Fair Employment and Housing Act and Title VII, laws relating to disability accommodation and discrimination, the California Labor Code and Fair Labor Standards Act, the WARN Act and Cal-WARN, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the ICRAA. The candidate should also have experience advising employers regarding discipline and discharge, responding to employee complaints, responding to agency charges, and drafting employer policies, employment agreements, and separation and severance agreements. The candidate must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to the bar in the state of California.
