Description
Our client is seeking a Patent Agent with a degree in engineering or computer science and a minimum of two years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution. The role involves collaborating with attorneys and clients across various industries, including medical devices and electronics, with a preference for candidates with technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical fields. The position offers flexibility for remote or hybrid work, ideally based in Minneapolis, Charlotte, or Boston. The successful candidate will manage U.S. and international patent portfolios, draft and prosecute patent applications, and conduct due diligence investigations. Strong writing and analytical skills are essential, and registration to practice before the USPTO is strongly preferred.
