Description
Our client is seeking a Patent Associate with a background in electrical engineering or computer science to join their Intellectual Property practice group in Nashville. The ideal candidate will have up to four years of experience and being a registered patent attorney with the USPTO is advantageous. Responsibilities include U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, preparing patent applications, responding to office actions, conducting patentability searches, and engaging with inventors to understand new inventions. The role also involves managing patent-application dockets and developing patentability arguments. Candidates should possess superior academic credentials, strong writing and oral communication skills, and be creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
