Description
Our client, a prestigious firm located in Boston, is actively seeking a mid-level associate with 4 to 6 years of experience in representing private equity sponsors in various transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. A successful candidate will be expected to advise private equity funds, their portfolio companies, and handle sophisticated public or private acquisitions, growth investments, and other transactions. Essential responsibilities include advising on general corporate matters, governance, securities law compliance, drafting and negotiating related transactional agreements, as well as being able to work within teams and manage various parts of transactions independently. You should currently be working as an associate at a law firm with extensive experience on private equity transactions, particularly in representing private equity and strategic investor clients on various mergers and acquisition transactions. Proven experience in drafting and negotiating private equity documents and advising clients on cross-border transactions is required. Ideal candidates should be highly motivated, possess emotional intelligence, have the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, and hold a J.D degree from an accredited law school.
