Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an associate to join their Securities & Capital Markets Group. This opportunity is available in their Chicago, New York, or Washington, D.C. office. The successful candidate will join a diverse, multidisciplinary team, working closely with shareholders and participating in business development and client-facing activities. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in corporate, securities, capital markets, and M&A at a top-tier law firm, with strong transactional skills. Experience in public company equity and debt capital markets, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance and reporting is required. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. Candidates must hold a J.D. degree with strong academic credentials and be admitted in (and in good standing with) the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois, New York, or District of Columbia).
