Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Managing Associate (M&A) to operate at a senior level within their M&A and Private Equity group. The successful candidate will manage and oversee the work of mid-level and junior associates, advising public companies, family offices, private equity firms, and VC funds on complex cross-border corporate transactions in the tech and life sciences sectors. The role also involves mentoring associates, participating in business growth initiatives, and meeting with partners to discuss strategic alternatives. Applicants must have a JD (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years’ experience in M&A or tax law, be licensed to practice law in the State of New York, and have specific experience in advising on transactions in AI, supercomputing, datacenter, and digital infrastructure, negotiating and drafting commercial agreements in advertising tech, advising on ECVC and late-stage investments in the tech and life sciences sectors, advising on tax structuring in cross-border transactions, and coordinating global teams of legal experts.
