TAX ASSOCIATE (2058)
Description
Our client is seeking an associate with 2+ years of transactional tax experience at a large law firm or equivalent experience at a big four accounting firm for their New York office. The ideal candidate will have experience negotiating and drafting tax-related provisions for various transaction documents, including purchase agreements, merger agreements, partnership agreements, and credit agreements. Additionally, candidates should be adept at researching complex tax issues and structuring the tax aspects of corporate and partnership transactions. A strong background in tax planning related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity, debt finance, bankruptcy/financial restructuring, special situations, and/or private credit is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate core values such as being future-focused, diversity-minded, dedicated to excellence, service-oriented, and collaborative. Stellar academic credentials and comparable law firm experience are required, and the position necessitates in-person availability.
