Description
Our client is seeking an Associate with 2 to 3 years of experience to join their tax practice group, focusing on federal, international, and state and local tax planning and controversy matters. The ideal candidate will have experience or a keen interest in U.S. Federal income, international, and state and local tax planning related to domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investment fund formation, and real estate transactions. Additionally, the role involves handling tax controversies and disputes with entities such as the IRS and State Tax Authorities. Strong academic performance, excellent research, writing, and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential. An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred but not required. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of the bar in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, or New York, depending on the office location.
