Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Funds Associate with 3-6 years of legal experience to join their Asset Management Group within the Corporate Department. The role involves providing legal advice on matters related to registered investment companies, including mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, interval funds, tender offer funds, and business development companies, as well as their trustees and directors. Key responsibilities include advising on fund formation, registration, compliance, product development, and drafting legal documents such as prospectuses and shareholder reports. The candidate will also conduct legal research, ensure compliance with securities laws, and represent clients in interactions with regulatory authorities like the SEC. Collaboration with internal teams and clients to address legal issues and ensure compliance is essential.
