LABOR EMPLOYMENT WORKPLACE SAFETY ASSOCIATE (3675)

Description

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced associate to join their Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in Portland. The ideal candidate will have over six years of litigation experience in employment issues, including wage and hour disputes and single plaintiff discrimination/harassment cases. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing employment policies, offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements, as well as handling labor and employment aspects of business transactions like mergers and acquisitions. While experience in traditional labor relations is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Candidates should be licensed in Oregon or eligible for licensing, with additional licenses in Washington and California (PAGA experience) considered a plus. The role involves working closely with seasoned lawyers, offering mentorship and opportunities for increased responsibility and client interaction. Candidates must demonstrate strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to high-quality client service.
