Our client is seeking an experienced Associate to join their M&A team within the Corporate Department in New York, NY. The role involves representing parties in public and private company transactions, including takeover defense and shareholder activism across various industries. Responsibilities include conducting research, preparing documents, analyzing complex legal cases, and collaborating with attorneys and support staff to deliver integrated legal services. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor degree or foreign equivalent, have at least 5 years of experience in an international law firm, and be licensed to practice law in New York. Experience should include mergers and acquisitions, public company advisory services, complex due diligence, and securities law compliance.
