Description

Our client, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Bankruptcy & Insolvency Practice. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in Texas and have at least four years of experience representing banks and financial institutions in loan enforcement proceedings, representing debtors, creditors, and Committees in bankruptcy proceedings, handling post-judgment enforcement, execution, and lien foreclosure, and defending banks in consumer collection practices act claims and other consumer lending matters. The role involves assisting businesses and individuals with insolvency issues, representing clients in contested matters and adversary proceedings, and supporting the firm's insurance clients in insolvency-related matters. Candidates should be adept at drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings, arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions, with strong writing and analytical skills.
