Description
Our client is seeking a patent associate or agent with over three years of patent counseling experience, including preparation and prosecution, to join their esteemed national Intellectual Property Department's Chemical, Biotechnology, and Pharmaceutical Practice Group. The position is available in several major cities, with flexibility for other locations based on business needs and candidate experience. Candidates must possess a PhD in biological sciences such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Genetics, along with a USPTO registration number. Experience in drafting and prosecuting both domestic and international patent applications is required, with a preference for those skilled in preparing patent opinions in biotechnology or related fields. The ideal candidate will have strong legal writing, research, and communication skills, along with top academic credentials and law firm experience. Attorney candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing with the Bar in their practicing jurisdiction.
