Description
Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking a litigation associate to join their team in Irvine, California. The firm boasts a robust litigation practice, handling some of the largest cases in federal and state courts nationwide. They are seeking an associate with 6-8 years of experience in complex business disputes and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice. Candidates must have an excellent understanding of civil procedure, experience in taking and defending depositions, and court experience. Ideal candidates will have experience with legal research, drafting motions and briefs, managing complex e-discovery, preparing deposition outlines and exhibits, and with skills in fact investigation and fact development. The firm also expects all associates to participate in business development efforts and to value diversity. Candidates must be licensed or immediately eligible to be licensed in California, have experience as a federal court clerk, and possess excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
