Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Business Restructuring Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their team in Chicago. The successful candidate will have a strong background in representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases and distressed situations. Key responsibilities include supporting complex corporate restructuring transactions, representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings, conducting legal analyses, drafting legal documents such as Chapter 11 filings, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in Illinois or be eligible for admission. Strong knowledge of bankruptcy laws, creditor rights, and restructuring strategies, along with exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, are essential.
