Description
Our client is seeking an Associate for their Tax & Employee Benefits Department based in Charlotte. This role involves providing a range of legal and financial assistance for business and high-net-worth clients, including business tax, employee benefits, executive compensation, and private wealth services. The successful candidate will represent individuals, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and other business entities in tax audits at various government levels and courts. They will also work with transactional tax lawyers to advise clients on the tax aspects of business transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, private equity transactions, tax credits, joint ventures, renewable energy projects, and international investments. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in a law firm, with experience in drafting transactional agreements being a plus.
