CLASS ACTION BRIEF WRITER (2858)

Description

Our client is seeking experienced attorneys for the role of CaseSmart Counsel, Class Action Brief Writer. The position involves drafting substantive motions and briefs, including motions to dismiss, demurrers, motions to compel arbitration, mediation briefs, oppositions to class certifications, and motions for summary judgment. The role requires consultation with trial teams to develop briefing strategies, analyzing case facts, applying legal authority, and creating persuasive arguments. Candidates must have at least 6 years of legal experience in wage and hour class action and PAGA litigation, with extensive experience in drafting motions and briefs. The ability to handle multiple complex matters and an active bar license in California and the candidate's state of residence are required. This full-time, remote position offers a reduced billable hours requirement and no business travel obligations.
