Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated commercial creditors' rights associate to join their Litigation team in New York. This role offers the chance to engage in a multidisciplinary practice, working closely with senior team members and participating in client-facing activities. Ideal candidates will have 3-4 years of experience in Creditors’ Rights Litigation, with additional experience in bankruptcy law being advantageous. Key responsibilities include drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, court appearances, and negotiating settlements. Familiarity with commercial loans, collateral repossession, the Uniform Commercial Code, equipment leasing, and commercial finance law is essential. A J.D. degree and admission to practice in New York are required. The position supports professional growth through training and mentoring, with a hybrid work policy in place.
