Description
Our client is seeking a mid-level associate to join their Commercial Disputes practice in a dynamic Portland office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, capable of managing cases independently from inception to resolution. Responsibilities include managing complex litigation matters, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, developing case strategies, conducting depositions and witness interviews, preparing and arguing motions, and effectively communicating with clients. Candidates should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, admission to the state bar, and 4-6 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation. Strong litigation skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
