Description
Our client, a national law firm with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, is seeking an Associate with two to seven years of experience for their Springfield office. The successful candidate will primarily work with the Real Estate, Development & Construction business unit and should have experience in all phases of complex commercial litigation. This includes conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, arguing motions, participating in mediation, and client communication. Experience in both state and federal court is preferred, and experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial. Second-chair experience at trial or arbitration is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. Candidates should have an active Missouri bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
