Description
Our client is seeking a senior Associate to join their Construction Law Practice Group in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of substantive construction law experience and significant large case litigation/arbitration experience. Responsibilities include providing strategic legal advice and representation to project owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals throughout all stages of construction projects. This involves contract formation/negotiations, project counseling, pre-suit investigation, and the development/defense of potential claims, as well as adjudication of claims and disputes in various forums. The role supports a sophisticated practice with opportunities for significant case management and independent client interaction, particularly in projects involving offshore wind, power/energy, infrastructure, and large commercial developments. Candidates must be barred in Massachusetts, with a preference for those also barred in Connecticut, New York, or Rhode Island. Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently.
