Description
Our client is seeking an associate with 2-3 years of construction law experience to join their Real Estate Group in Atlanta. The role involves providing transactional and litigation support on construction and development projects, including drafting and negotiating design, construction, and development agreements across various industry sectors. The candidate will advise clients on claims management, change orders, extra work claims, delays, and construction defects, and assist with construction adversarial matters such as arbitration and litigation. Familiarity with industry form agreements like AIA is required, and prior experience with litigation or arbitration is preferred. Candidates should possess strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized law schools and have experience in large or mid-sized law firms.
