Description
Our client, a leading full-service defense litigation law firm established in 1978 and operating across the United States with over 1100 attorneys in 44 offices, is seeking a Construction/General Liability Associate Attorney for their New York office. The ideal candidate should hold a JD from an accredited law school, be admitted to practice in New York, and have at least 3 years of defense litigation experience. Key areas of expertise should include construction (NYS Labor Law 200, 240, 241), insurance defense, premises liability, and general liability. Experience with court appearances for OSHA hearings is considered a plus. The role involves managing a caseload independently, working closely with other attorneys and team members on legal projects, handling court appearances and depositions, and maintaining communication with clients.
