Description
Our client, a renowned law firm, is seeking an attorney with 2 to 5 years of litigation experience for their Consumer Financial Services practice group based in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have consumer finance experience and familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCPA), and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) is a plus. Candidates must have strong academic and professional credentials and be licensed and in good standing with the Illinois bar. Admissions to other bars are also beneficial. The role involves dealing with a wide range of issues involving consumer finance and privacy laws, providing regulatory guidance, resolving litigation, and assisting with investigations and actions initiated by government agencies.
