Our client, a renowned law firm, is seeking an associate for their Consumer Financial Services practice group based in Richmond. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of litigation experience and preferably be a former federal judicial law clerk. The role requires excellent academic and professional credentials, superior research and writing ability, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Virginia bar. The practice focuses on a wide range of issues involving consumer finance and privacy laws, including bank and non-bank consumer lenders, credit reporting, background screening, fair housing, debt collection, credit repair, auto finance, mortgage lending and servicing, online lending and payment processing.
