Our client, a top-tier law firm, is seeking an Associate to join their Corporate group in their New York office. This role presents a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to be part of a thriving practice in a global center for commerce. The successful candidate will be serving corporate clients with their financial services needs in one of the world's major financial centers. The areas of practice within the Corporate Group include capital markets, private equity, securities, real estate, lending, project finance, investment management, energy, mergers and acquisitions, banking, and general corporate practice areas. Candidates should possess two to four years of meaningful corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting; venture capital experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate matters is required. Strong writing, analytical, and communications skills are essential, and candidates should be members of the New York bar.
