Description
Our client is seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead and supervise the representation of clients in complex domestic and international corporate law matters. The role involves providing legal counsel to national and global entities on a wide range of transactional and general corporate issues, including venture capital, private equity financing, technology licensing, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and cross-border transactions. The candidate will work with emerging and technology companies, represent venture capitalists, and manage multiple projects with significant responsibility. Key duties include devising and implementing complex transaction structures, drafting and negotiating deal documents, and advising on data security and privacy issues such as GDPR and CCPA compliance. The role also involves cultivating client relationships, developing legal solutions, conducting research, and preparing client-ready documents. Leadership responsibilities include directing a team of junior and midlevel associates and paralegals, and contributing to business and professional development activities, particularly in data privacy and AI.
