CYBER INCIDENT RESPONSE ASSOCIATE (1837)
Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Cyber Incident Response Attorney for a fully remote position, open to national candidates. This role is ideal for lawyers with strong cybersecurity experience who are ready to lead a team specializing in rapid response to data breaches and significant cyber incidents. The ideal candidate will have a JD from an accredited law school, over 5 years of legal experience, and at least 3 years focused on data privacy and security, particularly in data breach and incident response. Strong knowledge of privacy laws such as HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA, and GDPR is required, with an IT or technical background being a plus. Key responsibilities include leading incident response efforts, analyzing privacy laws, drafting legal notices, responding to regulatory investigations, defending privacy lawsuits, and drafting privacy and security policies.
