Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Cyber Incident Response Attorney for a fully remote position, open to national candidates. This role is ideal for lawyers with strong cybersecurity experience who are ready to lead a team specializing in rapid response to data breaches and significant cyber incidents. Candidates should have a JD from an accredited law school, 5+ years of legal experience, and 3+ years in data privacy and security, with a focus on data breach and incident response. Strong knowledge of privacy laws (HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA, GDPR) and excellent research, writing, and communication skills are required. Responsibilities include leading incident response, analyzing privacy laws, drafting legal notices, responding to regulatory investigations, defending privacy lawsuits, and drafting privacy policies.
