Description
Our client, a leading defense litigation law firm with a growing national Cyber Security & Data Privacy practice, is seeking an Associate with 3+ years of relevant legal experience. This role is ideal for attorneys with a demonstrated interest or coursework in data privacy and security, and knowledge of data breach and privacy laws (HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA, GDPR, etc.). An IT or technical background is a plus. The successful candidate will have excellent research, writing, and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include incident response for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents, analysis of privacy laws, drafting legal notices of data breaches, responding to regulatory investigations, defending privacy lawsuits, and drafting privacy and security policies.
