Our client, a leading defense litigation law firm with a growing national Cyber Security & Data Privacy practice, is seeking an Attorney with a keen interest in the intersection of law and technology. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 2+ years of legal experience, a demonstrated interest or coursework in data privacy and security, and knowledge of data breach and privacy laws (HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA, GDPR, etc.). An IT or technical background is a plus. Responsibilities include incident response for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents, analysis of state, federal, and international privacy laws, drafting legal notices of data breaches, responding to regulatory investigations, defending privacy lawsuits, and drafting privacy and security policies.
