Our client, a prominent full-service defense litigation law firm established in 1978, is seeking an Attorney to join their expanding national Cyber Security & Data Privacy practice. This role is ideal for candidates with at least 2 years of legal experience and a JD from an accredited law school, who are admitted to practice in California. The position involves handling data breaches and incident response, analyzing privacy laws, drafting legal notices and privacy policies, and responding to regulatory investigations. Applicants should have a demonstrated interest or background in data privacy and security, with knowledge of relevant laws such as HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA, and GDPR. An IT or technical background is advantageous. The role demands excellent research, writing, and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
