Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking a mid-level associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their Data Privacy & Cybersecurity practice group. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of international, federal, state, and local privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, and the Colorado Privacy Act, among others. Experience with industry standards such as the DAA Principles, and security frameworks like PCI-DSS, ISO, NIST, and the Center for Internet Security is essential. The role involves preparing and reviewing privacy policies, handling data protection impact assessments, data transfer provisions in contracts, transactional support, data breach incident response, and regulatory investigations. Experience in advertising law is considered a plus. The candidate must have strong time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
