Description
Our client, a highly esteemed international law firm, is seeking mid-level to senior associates with four to five years of experience to join their rapidly expanding Debt Finance Practice. This role offers an opportunity to significantly contribute to the growth of their special situations, restructuring, and private equity practices, which are of strategic importance to the firm. The work is sophisticated and dynamic, with excellent mentorship and training provided.
Their Debt Finance Practice advises a plethora of globally leading private credit, private equity, and other investment funds, as well as public and private companies and financial institutions to access and deploy capital and restructure debt across borders, industries, and asset classes. They hold a central role in precedent-setting, bespoke financings across the full spectrum of capital structures and transactions in the debt finance market.
Substantive experience with a wide range of secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, reorganizations, and general corporate finance matters is required. Prior experience as a key member of deal teams is preferred, including responsibilities such as running signings and closings, drafting debt commitment papers and credit documentation, etc. Exposure to direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings, and/or private equity-related corporate finance transactions is helpful. This position requires in-person work, and all employees must comply with the firm’s employment policies.
