Our client, a leading defense litigation law firm, is seeking an Arbitration & Litigation Defense Attorney. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with arbitration and litigation experience who are looking to take on increased and substantive defense responsibilities. The role can be based in either their White Plains or New York City Midtown office locations. The firm is a full-service provider with over 1,000 attorneys across multiple locations in the United States and London. The position requires a JD from an accredited law school, admission to practice in New York, and a minimum of 3 years of defense litigation experience. Experience with insurance defense, claims related to the Child Victims Act (CVA) and/or Adult Survivors Act (AVA), and arbitration and mediation defense is necessary. Legal project management experience is beneficial. Responsibilities include independently managing a litigation caseload, working closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects, handling court appearances and depositions, and providing status reports to clients.
