Description
Our client has an opening in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation group in Columbus, OH, recognized with a Band 1 ranking in Ohio from Chambers and Partners. This role is for a mid-to-senior level Employee Benefits Associate or Counsel with extensive experience in employee benefits and executive compensation law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of employee benefits, including diligence and transition support in mergers and acquisitions. Key responsibilities include advising on employee benefits matters, leading due diligence and transition efforts, ensuring legal compliance under ERISA and other laws, and drafting and negotiating benefits-related agreements. Qualifications include a Juris Doctor (JD) with active bar membership, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of ERISA.
