Description
Our client is seeking a lateral associate with 3-6 years of substantial experience in employment matters related to corporate transactions to join their Chicago office. The role involves working on employment aspects of transactions for private equity clients and strategic investors, drafting and negotiating various employment-related agreements, and conducting legal research to ensure compliance with state laws. The associate will collaborate with senior attorneys to advise clients on transaction structuring, market practices, and legal considerations, and will participate in due diligence, negotiation of transaction documents, and development of case strategies for pre-litigation and litigation matters. Candidates should have a strong background in employment aspects of private equity or mergers and acquisitions deals.
