Description

Our client is seeking a junior Energy Associate to join their esteemed Real Estate, Energy, Land Use & Environmental practice group. This role is ideal for junior to mid-level attorneys with 2-4 years of substantial experience in energy law, particularly in regulatory compliance and renewable energy transactions. The successful candidate will be admitted to practice law in Washington D.C. or California, or be able to gain admission promptly. Key responsibilities include engaging in sophisticated energy sector matters, with a focus on renewable energy projects, regional transmission organizations, and regulatory compliance. Experience with natural gas pipelines and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork, independent management skills, and possess excellent research, writing, and communication abilities.
