Description
Our client, a top-tier law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their energy & environmental regulatory group. This role is based in their Columbia office and offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to be part of a growing practice. The successful candidate will assist the team with the development and financing of thermal and renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, waste-to-energy, natural gas and coal facilities, and natural gas pipelines. Applicants should have between two and five years of meaningful litigation experience, with experience in the areas of energy and environmental law considered a bonus. Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills, strong academic credentials, adeptness in case management, and admission in Good Standing to the South Carolina State Bar are required.
