Description

Our client, a top-tier law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their energy & environmental regulatory group in their bustling metropolitan office. This role offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to be part of a growing team. The successful candidate will handle a wide range of corporate financings and mergers & acquisitions in the energy, telecom, high-technology, and manufacturing industries. They will assist with the development and financing of thermal and renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, waste-to-energy, natural gas and coal facilities, and natural gas pipelines. Applicants should have at least three years of meaningful experience in energy and environmental law, focusing on both regulatory matters and litigation before federal and state courts and regulatory bodies. Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills, strong academic credentials, adeptness in case management, and admission in Good Standing to the North Carolina State Bar are required.
