ENERGY & INFRASTRUCTURE ASSOCIATE (0541)

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an energy transactional associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join its Energy & Infrastructure practice. The role is open to candidates in Washington D.C., Houston, and New York, and involves representing a variety of entities in the energy sector, including financial institutions, commodity trading companies, and project developers. The successful candidate will have experience in project finance, securitization of energy assets, and negotiating and documenting structured transactions, hedging, offtake, and other trading arrangements for both conventional and renewable electricity, environmental products, and natural gas. Familiarity with credit and security documentation and standard master agreements used in the energy and commodities trading industry, including the ISDA and its physical annexes, the EEI, and the NAESB, is required. The candidate should be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable with client interaction, and willing to take on substantial roles in project management.
