Description
Our client, a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100, is seeking a full-time transactional Associate with 4+ years of experience in project development and finance. The successful candidate may work from any US office, with a preference for Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Orange County, or Washington, DC. Candidates should have significant experience in energy project development, M&A, and project finance transactions involving sponsors, investors, developers, and/or lenders, with a focus on renewable power and energy transition. Familiarity with energy regulatory matters, project real property and permitting requirements, and experience with offtake agreements, interconnection agreements, and other commercial aspects are also required. Candidates should be team-oriented, capable of taking on significant responsibility for drafting primary deal documents, leading complex diligence, deal management, client interaction, and work product.
