ENERGY REGULATORY ASSOCIATE (1013)

Description

Our client, a national law firm with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, is seeking an Energy Regulatory Associate with three to five years of experience. The role can be based in Austin, Dallas, or Houston and will involve handling regulatory and compliance matters before the Texas Public Utility Commission and other state energy regulatory commissions. Experience with the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) or other ISO/RTOs or organized power markets is preferred. Advocacy before state utility commissions, or involvement in power transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, power sales, and related matters, would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, superior interpersonal skills, exceptional judgment, and the ability to effectively handle multiple projects. An active Texas bar license or a commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible is required.
