Description
Our client is seeking an associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their Energy Transition corporate, transactional, project development, and finance practices. The position is open to any U.S. office location, with a presence in New York, Texas, or Washington, D.C. being a plus. The ideal candidate will have broad transactional experience with energy transition projects, particularly in hydrogen, carbon capture, renewable fuels, and lithium extraction, though experience with traditional renewable energy projects is also welcomed. Key responsibilities include representing and advising on complex transactions, mergers and acquisitions, land purchase agreements, offtake agreements, and various energy-related contracts. Strong drafting and project management skills are preferred. Candidates with experience in traditional oil and gas projects who are transitioning to the energy sector will be highly considered.
