ENERGY UTILITY ATTORNEY (1411)

Description

Our client, a prominent law firm with a specialized Utility and Energy Practice, is seeking an experienced attorney to join their team in either New York or Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of legal experience, particularly with a State Public Utility Commission, notably the NJ Board of Public Utilities. Experience in renewable energy sectors such as solar and offshore wind is highly desirable. Applicants should have a background in government or within utility/energy companies, and those with experience before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission are also encouraged to apply. Admission to the NJ bar is mandatory, with NY and/or PA bar admissions preferred. This hybrid role requires three days of office presence per week. The firm is renowned for guiding clients through complex regulatory approvals, representing a diverse range of clients including public utilities, renewable energy companies, and large corporate clients in various regulatory and litigation matters.
