ENVIRONMENTAL LAW ASSOCIATE (1115)
Description
Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their Environmental Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have experience or demonstrated interest in regulatory compliance matters under federal environmental laws and their state equivalents. Experience in government enforcement proceedings and advising clients on environmental aspects of corporate transactions is also required. Candidates with law firm or government experience at a relevant agency are strongly preferred. The role requires direct interaction with senior partners and clients, and the ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in a team-based environment. Candidates from adjacent practice areas willing to be trained in specialty environmental practice are also welcome. The candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) in which they are admitted to practice.
