Description
Our client is seeking a senior associate or junior partner with expertise in environmental and energy law for their offices in the Bay Area, Dallas, Houston, New York, Salt Lake City, or Washington, D.C. The position involves managing environmental aspects of corporate and financing transactions, particularly within the energy sector, as part of the Environmental Transactions practice. Key responsibilities include overseeing environmental due diligence, drafting and negotiating environmental provisions in transaction and financing agreements, preparing environmental disclosure for SEC filings, and providing compliance and restructuring counseling. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of federal and state environmental statutes, a comprehensive understanding of the energy industry and regulatory frameworks, and a strong familiarity with the transaction process. Applicants should have 6-8 years of relevant experience, strong academic credentials, and a law school transcript.
